Minutes of the Meeting of Bradwall Parish Council

1.    Apologies for absence

 

Cllr R Smedley and Cllr E.Gnyp sent apologies in advance of the meeting.

Cllr Mike Ollier did not attend.

 

2.    To receive any Declaration of Interests regarding Agenda items

No declarations were noted.

3.    To approve Minutes of the meeting held on Wednesday 26 July 2023

Approved by Cllr Mike Acton and seconded by Cllr Steve Beck.

To discuss Matters arising from the last meeting.

a)    Bradwall Village Hall

A formal letter has been sent to the Chair of Bradwall Village Hall for a formal response, no response has been received. Carry action forward.

b)    Permissive footpath

The footpath was formally opened by the landowners at the end of August.

4.    Finance (Clerk)

a)    To receive the Balance Sheet

The balance sheet was noted.

The VAT Return has been completed for the period 01/04/2022 to 31/08/2023 of £4854.49.

b)   To approve payments.

Payment Reference 423 for the SSL Certificate for the website was approved.

5.    Planning Matters

The current planning permission applications progress was noted. The Planning Reference 23/2325C has been approved with conditions.

6.    Correspondence Received and Updated Actions (Clerk)

Actions to be carried forward - Natwest Online Banking, Removal of the defibrillator from the Village Hall, Noticeboard Inspection.

Parking Review

Response from the Parish Council outlining the concerns for Sandbach and Cheshire East to be submitted.

7.    Any other business

Cheshire East Councillor Update – Brereton Rural

Further consultations to follow for Flexilink services and waste recycling sites.

Ward Boundary Review is to take place by the Boundary Commission. Any suggestions for an alternative names for the ward please email Cllr John Wray directly to cover the 13 parishes of Brereton Rural.

Bradwall Hall Cottages

To note a recent fire had occurred at the cottages,
