1.    Apologies for absence

 

Cllr. S. Beck apologies noted.

Cllr John Wray was not in attendance

 

2.    To receive any Declaration of Interests regarding Agenda items

No declarations were noted.

3.    To approve Minutes of the meeting held on Wednesday 15 March 2023

Approved by Cllr. M Acton and seconded by Cllr. M Ollier.

4.    To discuss Matters arising from the last meeting.

a)    Bradwall Village Hall

There has been a response from the owner of the Hall. There are some complications with the Charity Commission with the remaining balance and how this could be distributed. Advice has been taken from the Owner’s Accountants, we are waiting a further update and possible meeting to discuss.

b)    Permissive footpath

The footpath work is due to start in the next week. Cheshire East Council have accepted the discharge of conditions and this is now complete.

Discussion regarding the opening of the path upon completion which will hopefully be opened by the landowners.

Cllr. E Gnyp will contact the press and Sandbach Footpaths Group.

5.    Finance (Clerk)

a)    To receive the Balance Sheet

The balance sheet was noted.

6.    Planning Matters

The current planning permission applications progress was noted.

7.    Correspondence Received and Updated Actions (Clerk)

Elections Paperwork

All submitted to Cheshire East Council as per their guidance.

Blocking of fields

Cllr. M Ollier asked if on Cooksmere Lane/Wood Lane whether the small laybys are passing places or parking places. Clerk to look into signs to stop people parking in the places and blocking the fields.

Bradwall Village Hall Website

Updates to the websites to be noted and amended.

 

8.    The next meeting is Wednesday 26 July 2023 at the Old Hall.
