To receive any Declaration of Interests
regarding Agenda items
No
declarations were noted.
3. To approve Minutes of the meeting held
on Wednesday 26 September 2022
Amendment in minutes to point 8 to Cllr M.Acton not Cllr M.Ollier and spelling mistake.
Following the amendment, the minutes were approved
by Councillor Greg Gnyp and seconded by Councillor Elaine Gnyp.
4. To discuss Matters arising from the last
meeting.
a) BT Pole – A
formal complaint has been made to BT to rectify this issue. Cllr M Acton has
also been trying to contact BT but they will not raise
a further case unless the pole is directing impacting your property or supply.
Post meeting note: Cllr M Acton confirmed on 5
December 2022 the pole has now been replaced.
b) Footpath for Smithy bend – update
Cllr G Gnyp
noted Cheshire East Councillor Planning Department have requested a six week extension to the deadline. The Council agreed to
this extension timeframe.
The current
comments on the application from the public demonstrate support and Sandbach
Town Council did not make a comment. There is likely to be some conditions due
to the removal of the short section of hedgerow and close
proximity of the water course.
Cllr M Ollier has acquired a further quote for consideration.
Cllr J Wray
suggested a quote from Maple Leaf Design.
All quotes
will be required for submission prior to the January 2023 meeting for
consideration.
c) Hollins Green Boundary Signs – resolved
The Highways
Department completed the work in November 2022.

b) To approve payments.
No payments
required approval.
c) Agreement of Precept Arrangement 2023/24
The Council
agreed to submit a precept increase of 5% totalling £1785.00.
d) VAT Return
Due to there
being a three year time limit for a VAT return and a
VAT return had not been submitted since March 2018. The claim for September
2019 – March 2022 £106.41 has been confirmed.
6. Planning Matters
The current
planning permission applications progress was noted.
7. Correspondence Received and Updated
Actions (Clerk)
a) Review of Town and Parish Council
Governance
Cheshire East
Council have undertaken a review locally, they do not affect Bradwall but
impact surrounding areas such as Moston and Somerford.
The mandate
had been submitted but has expired. The Clerk will resubmit this.
c) Clerk salary arrangements
All the
information is with DM Payroll Services who will process payroll on a quarterly
basis.
The Clerk to
make enquiries with the Charity Commission regarding remaining funds in the
Charity.
