MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF

BRADWALL PARISH COUNCIL

Held on Wednesday 23rd March 2022

1.      APOLOGIES:          None

 

2.      DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST REGARDING AGENDA ITEMS:     None

 

3.      TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING

The minutes of the last meeting held on 16th February 2022 were approved and signed as a correct record.

 

4.      MATTERS ARISING FROM THE LAST MEETING

a)      Footpath at Smithy bends

The draft contract has been returned to Cheshire East with the comments and requested amendments of both Bradwall PC and G. Barlow/Oketop ltd. It was noted that a map or plan of the location was requested by CE and this is outstanding. The Clerk handed all the paperwork to Cllr. Gnyp for further action.

b)     Hollins Green Boundary Signs

The Clerk has spoken to the Cheshire East officer handling the matter and gave the go ahead for the works. They will forward an invoice for payment prior to the work being done. They cannot give a timescale for completion.

c)      Clerk/RFO

On appointment of a new Clerk/RFO it will be necessary for the Clerk’s salary to be paid by payroll. Details of a couple of companies used by other parishes have been forwarded to the Chairman.

d)     Flooding on Bradwall Road

Some inspections have taken place and it is believed that work is now awaiting scheduling.

 

5.      FINANCE (Clerk)

a)      The balance sheet dated 23rd March 2022 was received.

b)      Payments approved: GGN Services - £102.00 for notice board repair; G. Gnyp - £57.46 website expenses; Bradwall Limited - £50.00 room hire on 16/02/22 & 23/03/22.

 

6.      PLANNING MATTERS

a)      New Applications.

22/0665C The Oaklands, Bradwall Road – Relocation of front door with timber porch and additional first floor circular windows. No comments or objections.

22/0703C Wood Cottage, Wood Lane – Internal works including moving and increasing size of openings. Replacement of garden room. No comments or objections.

 

b)     Outstanding.

21/5202C Fields Farm, Congleton Road – Change of use of field to allow touring caravan pitches including associated hardstanding. No decision.

22/0135N Willow Lodge, Walnut Tree Lane – variation of condition on existing permission 21/0266C. No decision.

 

 

 

 

 

7.      CORRESPONDENCE RECEIVED (Clerk)

Any relevant emails have been forwarded, including.

 

·         Cheshire East Council – Digital inclusion Strategy.

·         Police & Crime Commissioner – meeting with Town 7 Parish Councils will take place on 6th April.
