THE MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING
a)
Footpath at
Smithy bends
A draft contract has been received and copies forwarded to the
landowner Mr G. Barlow/Oketop for his comments. The
Chairman has also read the contract and raised a number of
queries and items for alteration. Once a reply has been received from Mr
Barlow, all queries will be discussed with Cheshire East Legal Department.
To speed up matters the Clerk was asked to obtain quotes from
Willis Brothers plus another potential contractor for the work required.
b)
Hollins Green
Boundary Signs
The Cheshire East officer dealing with this has revised the design
to remove the gateway structure and has indicated that there would be no
installation cost because Willis Brothers have agreed to complete the work free
of charge. It was resolved to request that Cheshire East go ahead with ordering
the signs and poles as soon as possible.
c)
Flooding on
Bradwall Road
Despite repeated requests for remedial work or a date for such
work to take place the Highways department have not responded. The Clerk will
contact the Ward Councillor to request his involvement in this matter.

sheet dated 16th February 2022 was received.

PLANNING
MATTERS
a)
New
Applications.
22/0135N Willow Lodge, Walnut Tree Lane variation
of condition on existing permission 21/0266C. No comments or objections.
b)
Outstanding.
21/1804C Hill Top Cottage Extension. No decision.
21/5202C Fields Farm, Congleton Road Change of
use of field to allow touring caravan pitches including associated
hardstanding. No decision.

CORRESPONDENCE
RECEIVED (Clerk)
Any relevant emails have been forwarded.

The Clerk has submitted a letter of resignation, dated 9th
February 2022. It was agreed to advertise the vacancy both via ChALC and the local WhatsApp group. The Clerk will obtain
relevant documents for recruitment.

A resident has enquired about the possibility of creating a public
footpath alongside Bradwall Road. It was agreed that, even if the landowner
were to agree, the Parish Council did not have sufficient funds for such a
project.
